This is a Comfy Twin Down Comforter
"Your kid will love a twin down comforter!"
Do kids care about their twin down comforter? Studies show that they really do in fact. So where does that leave you, as a parent? Well, you can really listen to what they want. If they’re a teen, they’re likely going to want something very specific. They’re going to want something that they won’t be embarrassed to show their friends. Any material is fine, so don’t run out and get a nice goose down comforter. They don’t need silk, satin, or microfiber either.
On the other hand, if you’re simply looking for a nice bedspread and comforter set for a twin bed you may have, either in a spare room or for some other purpose, then you might consider spending a little more money. While it’s true that the cheap and discount material comforters can look every bit as fancy to the untrained eye as their more expensive cousins, anyone with home decoration experience will note the difference.
So while I’m not suggesting that you run out and get a Martha, Chenille, Abigail, or Jacquard set complete with coverlets, I am asking that you think about it. Think about what color or pattern you’re gong to go with, whether it’s going to be floral with blue or some sort of palm tree with green. You might just get a nice black and white type.
One great trick you can do is get an oversize or xl bedding set. This will make any size mattress and bed frame look extremely large. After all, what’s the point of having a spare king or queen if people hardly use it? You might have seen the motel commercial where the nice, fancy nautical burgundy down comforter is on display. After airing this, many people went out and bought the exact same type. It was a cooperative effort between the bedspread company and that motel. They have also sold quilted full size comforters for boys and children this way. It’s really a clever use of cooperative marketing.
