You Can't Use Just Any Teen Comforters
"My kids really love these teen comforters!"
What makes teen comforters so special? Can you get them cheap at a huge discount or something? Or is it the fact that they’re designed especially for that age group? Whatever the case is, most adolescents really want to make a change about their bedding. This is understandable, considering all the changes they’re going through. They’re in transition from child to adult, and they’re starting to be more self conscious and aware of themselves. They don’t necessarily wan the racecar bed they used to have. They don’t necessarily want the comforter that had screen printings on it.
They are starting to realize that they might have members of the opposite gender over, and they want to look and feel mature. That’s why they want special teen bedding. They want a nice modern, contemporary look. They want it to look really expensive, and they would rather die than have it look cheap.
Some teenagers are embarrassed if their bed is too small or if they simply have a daybed. You can easily counter this by getting an extra long comforter with the duvet sets. This gives the impression of making the bed look much larger than it actually is, and will allow girls and boys the luxury of having a larger looking bed. Of course, if they already have a king or queen, this doesn’t matter too much.
There are several designer names out there, though it’s not likely that your child will really care about the name. They have Primaloft and Eiderdown typically. As for patterns, there are really only a select few that you can actually get away with. Simple ones like stripes, squares, polka dots, and zebra are usually the only types that teens will want to be seen with. If you ever have any doubt, just keep in mind that solid colors like black, brown, green, blue, orange, purple, blue, and white are always winners. Girls are usually still ok with a cute pink at that age.
